Kinetic is dedicated specifically to management of water in the mining industry. We are working from the process of cleaning tailings water towards processes for tailoring water so that it is most effective for return and reuse in mining processes.

Our focus is on developing solutions that are ready-to-implement by industry.

Our values are collaboration, curiosity, and close industry engagement.

We clean tailings water and adjust its salt and other content to the mine’s requirement for reuse or discharge.

Our Products

Our products include effective and low cost, non-toxic methods that deliver on environmental outcomes.

Miners can also create value from water by more cost-effectively dewatering tailings to allow greater reprocessing of the solid portion of tailings, reduce costs of handling tailings, and extracting dissolved heavy metals from tailings.

Kinetic collaborates with organisations such as the Sustainable Minerals Institute at the University of Queensland and with CSIRO to transfer public research insights into commercial solutions for industry.

We are industry-led in the projects that we tackle. We engage with industry to improve our understanding of the site-specific challenges that industry face in managing tailings.
